BEFORE YOU ASK "WHO THE EFF IS PAM?", PLEASE READ.

Pam tends to get a lot of questions, so let's take a sec to answer them!

IS PAM REAL?

This can be answered with a quote by the Dobson himself!
"No. I deliberately made the character of Persistent Pam to be entirely different from the real person it was based on for a reason. She's not online, her name isn't Pam, and she looks nothing like the character I drew. Because I knew the character was going to receive a good deal of hate (and praise) I felt it wise to make sure the real person it's based on doesn't have to deal with it."

CAN WE HAVE A PICTURE OF PAM?

Nope! Sorry! Pam is the manifestation of Andrew Dobson and your own vision of her.

DOES PAM STAND FOR ANYTHING?

Yes! It stands for "This looks nothing like me".

THIS CLUB IS AWESOME! CAN I HELP YOU GUYS OUT AT ALL?
Occasionally we hold really fun contests. However, it's hard to come up with really good prizes Pammers like! If you'd like to volunteer the service of a free sketch, cg drawing, writing piece, or artistic service of any kind to a winning Pammer, you'd be doing the club more than we could ask for! Send a note directly to the club for more information!

The Dobson has just announced an update on the SYAC book! [link]
You can't order it yet, but he's taken in consideration your budget and art work! A very kind thing to do!

What's that? Your artwork?
He's including SYAC fan art in the book!

If you get contacted by him, be sure to tell everyone in the comments. We want to congratulate you!

(Pictures picked are only chosen by the Dobson, not the club!! It's a kind gesture, not a right!)

That also means that if you've been saving a piece of artwork (here's looking at you,

) it's a prime opportunity to submit it to the gallery!

As a general note and gesture, if you submit a piece of art to the gallery before a contest is announced or begins, you are still allowed to submit it if it goes with the requirements of the said contest.

For example!
If you made an awesome picture of Pam surfing on July 15th and a surprise contest was announced 3 days later about Pam doing her favorite sport, you can enter that piece with no problems!

If that were to happen and 3 months later there was a contest about Pam and her favorite hobby, then you wouldn't be allowed! Not because of the passed time but because it was already in a contest before! See what I'm saying?
You can enter a piece from any point in time as long as it has not already been in a contest before hand!

I hope that's a bit helpful. We want you Pammers to be involved any chance you can and doing so fairly!

With that said, rally your talents and get that gallery pumping out artwork!
Let's make the Dobson proud!
